THE TREATMENT OF EFFLUENT FROM CEH BLEACHING BY PHOTOCATALYSIS WITH TiO2
TiO2-catalyst suspensions worked efficiently in photocatalysis for effluent treatment. The effects of photocatalytic parameters on the removal rates of COd and color were investigated. It is found that ph value and TiO2 concentration are crucial to reaction. Irradiating time and modes of aeration are also important parameters to reaction. The compounds besides chlorophenols in the effluent were analyzed by UV-Vis spectroscopy and GC-MS. The results show that most of the components in the effluent are dramatically removed after photocatalytic reaction.
