THE PREPARATION OF Yb3+/TiO2 MESOPOROUS MATERIAL AND TREATMENT OF PULP AND PAPER MAKING WASTEWATER
Mesoporous TiO2 doped with Ytterbium ion was prepared through sol-gel method using tri-block copolymer as template. The samples were characterized by LAXRD, XRD and TEM. Photocatalytic degradation of paper making wastewater under ultraviolet radiation was carried out using the samples as the photocatalysts. The results showed that the Yb3+ doping could inhibit the phase transformation of TiO2 and enhance the thermal stability of TiO2 structure. The removing rate of C0DCr and chroma is up to 75.3% and 91.4% respectively, the conditions are aerating with oxygen ultraviolet irradiation, reaction time 12 h and using 2% Yb3+/TiO2 as catalyst.
