THE PRELIMINARY RESEARCH ON REMOVING STICKIES AND ASH PARTICLES IN RECYCLED PULP BY COLUMN FLOTATION

In this paper, the removal efficiency of stickies and ash particles was discussed, through studying two parameters-the bubbles action rising in the column and the gas holdup, with recycled pulp by column flotation. By experiments, the removal efficiency of stickies achieves 83.4% at Vg=0.4m3/h (Vg: gas flux; Vp: pulp flux).More than half of ash was removed t. The experiment demonstrates that column flotation has good selectivity for stickies and ash removal. column
