Design of Valves Parameters Based on Multi-points Speed Characteristic of Shock Absorber

In this paper,the multi-segment golden section design of valves parameters was established based on the analysis on the damping components of shock absorber,the analytic formulae of throttle slice deformation and the relation between throttling pressure drop and flow rate. A practical design example by this new method was given,and the performance test was conducted. The results show that the design values of parameters and the optimal design values by curve fitting coincide with the values on blueprint of manufacturer,the characteristic test value is close to the target value,and it indicates that the design method is accurate and effective,and has important popularization value for shock absorber design.
