Design of Dual Capacitors Compensation Scheme for LDO
This paper presents a dual capacitors compensation scheme for low dropout linear regulator (LDO).Error amplifier is two-stage amplifier whose first stage uses cascode structure and second stage uses asymmetrical current topology.With the compensation method,LDO is more stable and faster. Output voltage of LDO is 1.2V,maximum output current is 100mA. The total circuits are simulated by Spectra with 0.18μm CMOS process.
