Dynamic Simulation Analysis for the Retractor of Seat Belt
It is essential to analyze the retractor since the seat belt is the most important restraint system in the car and the retractor is the vital device of belts.First,this paper presents every factor that influences the locking property of retractor and defines all locking critical values of retractor. Then the locking motions are simulated for the vehicle-sensitive mechanism,the seat belt-sensitive mechanism and the oblique locking mechanism based on multi-body dynamics theory. According to the results,optimization schemes of the retractor are described and the relationship between locking critical values and geometric parameters are obtained. Therefore,a reliable convenient method for the design of the retractor system is supplied.
