Application of Artificial Neural Network in Weld Quality Prediction

摘要：

Problems and questions relating to the development of welding process monitoring system are considered. The principal element of the system is Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model intended for weld quality prediction. Attention is drawn to peculiarities of arc welding and the estimation of weld quality. A technical description of unique laboratory equipment is given with software functions outline. The procedure of the ANN model is considered in details and efficiency of using ANN models is proved experimentally
