Generalization of Polynomial Fitting
The polynomial fitting is generalized. The polynomial fitted methods to minimize maximum absolute value of errors and to minimize amount of errors absolute value are discussed. The notion of up fitting,down fitting and interval fitting are put forward. These generalized problems can be translated into linear programming. The results of diversiform generalized case are given by examples.
