Models for Monthly Mean Daily Global Solar Radiation in China
Solar radiation data for 8 typical meteorological stations in China are used to test the applicability of nine models for computing the monthly mean daily global radiation on a horizontal surface. The model performing best is selected. The measured values of monthly mean daily global solar radiation for shenyang,Zhengzhou and Chengdu cites are analyzed to test the generalization of the selected model. The model is found to be able to predict the measured data with good accuracy.
