Orthogonal Intelligent Algorithm of Robust Design

This paper puts forward a new intelligent algorithm of robust method based on orthogonal optimum design and variance ratio analysis for robotic mechanism design.Because orthogonal experiment design method can find an interval that contains the best solution,optimal solution can be searched with next orthogonal array by succession,of which the searching direction and searching range of current parameters are determined by variance ratio intelligently. The parameter tolerance is obtained when the parameter optimization is finished.Because it is not necessary to make tolerance design after parameter design and to use signal-to-noise ratio,quality-cost analysis and regression analysis,it is far simpler than Taguchi method and other robust design methods.Simulation result shows that this new algorithm is practicable,simple and suitable for engineers,and also it will have a good application prospect in the field of robust design.
