Optimum Design of Asymmetric Hyperbola Microlens for Optical Interconnection
A optimum design method for asymmetric hyperbola microlens to improve the coupling efficiency in optical interconnection is described.Incident beam with different ellipticity is considered Numerical simulation shows the optimized asymmetrical microlens profile can theoretically collect up to 90% when the ellipticity of laser beam is 1 to 3.Possible offset and rotation around z axis are also studied.
