1 Introduction Nowadays, most area of China is facing a severe water resource crisis. Wastewater reclamation holds promise as an important water resource as the desire to develop arid regions to place increasing demands on finite water resources. The coagulation sedimentation process for the pretreatment of reclaimed water continues to be widely accepted and used due to its economic advantages.
