摘要：

1. Introduction Naphthalene, the first member of PAH group, is of environmental concern due to its carcinogenicity and persistent organic pollutant 1. Since PAHs are widespread in the environment and threaten environmental and human health 2, many methods and techniques have been developed to remove naphthalene3, but biodegradation is the major and attactive method because the bioremediation techniques are cheaper than the other alternatives used for cleaning up of contaminated sites 4.
