Environmental bio-monitoring technologies review and development trend in China
Environmental biological monitoring is based on biological objects or means,it has lots of characteristics,such as intuitive,comprehensive,pioneering and regional.From content,it includes micro-organisms hygiene monitoring,biological residue-toxicity and biological markers monitoring,Eco-toxicological monitoring,biodiversity monitoring etc. Biology in the environment is a response factor but can also be as a kind of stress factor, from the use of technical means,the environmental biological monitoring can be divided into active and passive biological monitoring,monitoring indicators include structural indicators and functional indicators,and focus on the different environmental elements, such as water,wastewater,air,gas,soil,solid waste and environmental biology themselves etc. As belong to environmental monitoring,including quality monitoring,emergency monitoring,early warning monitoring,pollution monitoring,special investigation and monitoring,it can be applied to all aspects of environmental management.
