APPLICATION OF ROSENBLUETH METHOD IN THE RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE INTERNAL STABILITY OF REINFORCED GABION RETAINING WALLS

The basic principle of Rosenblueth moment estimation method and its application in internal stability analysis of reinforced gabion retaining wall are presented. A computer programs based on the Rosenblueth method is developed to research the influences of cohesion, internal friction angle, tension, earthquake force, gravity density, vehicle load on reliability index. In light of the first expressway reinforced gabion retaining wall in China(reinforced earth engineering of Xiangtan to Hengyang express highway section of K124 +300-K124 +895 in Hunan province), the internal stability analysis of reinforced gabion retaining wall is analyzed by using the reliability analysis method and the reliability index and failure probability are given with this method. The results show that this method is simple, scientific and reasonable, thus it can be effectively used to guide engineering-oriented designs for this type of structures.
