CONCRETE-FILLED STEEL TUBULAR FRAME TIED ARCH BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Through the study on the structural performance of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST)frame tied arch bridge, some guidance on the replacement of its tying strands were proposed. Based on the analysis of the influences of the tying tension on the internal forces in CFST frame tied arch bridge, a new set of principles about the proper arrangement for the locations of the tying strands were submitted, which can be concluded as mechanical equivalence, smooth communication, reliable anchorage, and convenient construction. With respect to the replacement form and anchoring means of the tying strands, a kind of anchoring steel box with large bearing capacity tonnage while taking small space was proposed. At last, the construction monitoring of the tying strands replacement project were also discussed, including the construction process, controlling construction parameters, working tasks of the replacement, etc.
