STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOAD TEST OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE CONTINUOUS BRIDGE
Bridge field test is one of the effective methods in the assessment of its load bearing capacity and operation quality. The static strain and deflection as well as the vibration characteristics were measured on a four-span continuous box girder. The measured values were compared with the results calculated by finite element method with a software MIDAS CIVIL2006. The results show that the measured strain and deflection are less than the calculation ones and relative residual-strain and deflection under control values. The measured natural frequencies are greater than the calculation ones and measured impact coefficients are less than calculation values. The achievement can be used as technical information for long-term monitoring of the bridge and for more reasonable design of the same type bridge.
