PRACTICAL CALCULATION METHOD OF CRACKS OF CONCRETE BEAM REINFORCED WITH FRP TENDONS

On the basis of traditional reinforced concrete cracks theoretical calculations, the calculation formula of FRP tendons concrete beam cracks are raised by combination of the effective area theory raised by Gilbert and the calculation model simplified by other researchers in the past. It is based on the slip-no slip unified computing theory. Compared with the experimental data, the calculation results showed that the crack width and cracks spacing of proper reinforced beams fit in with the actual change law basically. The formula was amended and can be carried out in practical applications. It has some guide significance to a certain degree for the design of concrete beams reinforced with FRP bars.
