EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF BEAM- SLAB TYPE BRIDGE

At present, many problems existed in beam-slab type bridge are caused by the weakness of transverse connection component. Single beam will bear more strength and the carrying capacity of the whole structure will reduce. The harmfulness is becoming increasingly serious. Through the dynamic and static load testing of Guangzhou group Xinsha overpass, the weakness of horizontal linkages is demonstrated. The phenomenon that horizontal linkages of road bridge in city are catholically weakened after several years is obtained in the further analysis. Then,the reasons of the horizontal linkages’ weakened are put forward on design concept,construction quality,operations management and so on. Based on these reasons,some recommendations for prevention and processing to this situation are given in this thesis ,which will also provide a practical basis for later designs and constructions of this kind of bridge. At the same time,some advices are provided for strengthening the horizontal linkages of the in-serviced bridges.
