SEISMIC BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS OF HIGH-PIERS CONTINUOUS RIGID FRAME BRIDGE
Seismic performance evaluation of high-piers continuous rigid frame bridge is not only a hot issue of bridge seismic but also the difficulty of seismic research. In this paper, a study of DongXi Bridge is conducted for engineering background. Analysis the high-piers dynamic characteristic of DongXi Bridge by using the space finite element method, in which bridge pier and pile foundation are dispersed into beam elements in space, mechanical model of multi-beam is applied to main beam, platform is simulated as rectangular section beam, moreover, the connection model of the nodes between platform、pier bottom and the top of pile foundation is rigid connection. Seismic response spectrum was loaded on the calculation model, and finally analysis the structure seismic behavior individually under the E1 and E2 seismic action.
