ANALYSIS OF LATERAL RIGIDITY LIMIT VALUE FOR STEEL TRUSS BRIDGE
The train and the truss girder bridge are coupled together as one composite system. The truss girder bridge is idealized as an assemblage of finite truss element. The vehicle space vibration model of two-stage suspension is used; which has 21-degrees of freedom. The equations of the train and the truss girder bridges time varying system are set up by using the principle of total potential energy with stationary value in elastic system dynamics and the “set-in-right- positionrule for forming structural matrices. The lateral rigidity limit value –the permissible limit width/span ratio B/L of the steel truss bridge is analyzed in accordance with the analytic theories of vibration of train–bridge time varying system and comfort of drivers and passengers in train running through the bridges. Sperling value Wz and permissible limit values of bridge with-span ratio B/L are calculated, when the train pass through truss girder bridge.
