COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE WITH MANUFACTURED SAND
This paper aim at the actuality that the natural sand lacks, the porosity of manufacture sand is less than the natural sand’s, and the particles’ shapes and graduations of manufacture sand are worse than the natural sand’s, which affects the quality and properties of mixes. It has researched on the working performance, mechanics properties and enduring properties of concrete with manufacture sand through a lot of experiments. Some high efficiency water reducing agent and fly ash have been added into this concrete in order to eliminate the disadvantage of manufacture sand and promote concrete performance. The results of many tests indicate that all properties of concrete with manufacture sand are better than natural sand. It can completely meet the request of construction and can be used to pre-mix concrete.
