Study and Implementation of ScanSAR data processing based on simulated baseband spaceborne SAR echoes
ScanSAR is a kind of mode which switches the beam when imaging. The predefined parameters of each beam, such as burst duration and PRF are different. And in a loop of beam switching, the aperture time of each beam is not a complete aperture time (i.e.,the subaperture time),so the image can get a wider swath at the cost of azimuth resolution. This mode is designed to meet the need of short coverage time.Different with StripMap SAR,the processing of ScanSAR data has its own specialty, for example, the sub-aperture data processing,de-scalloping,mosaic of sub-images. This paper shows the processing methods and results using simulated ScanSAR data. And some details about imaging processing and mosaic are illuminated.
