Systematic Study on Imaging Characteristics of Rat Model of Parkinsons Disease
Imaging technology was utilized for systematic study on brain morphology and function of model rat of Parkinson’s disease (PD): magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) were used to get morphological imaging data; functional imaging data such as spectroscopy and blood flow changes were obtained by proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) and CT perfusion (CTP). The results show that PD model rats have no characteristic morphological imaging abnormalities, but regional cerebral blood flow (CBF) reduction and spectral changes in striatum.
