Researching on the Decay Process of Blood in Vitro when Irradiated by Laser
The FLS900 Steady-state fluorescence spectrometer was used to test the spectral characteristic of blood in vitro when irradiated by continuous laser. With the irradiated time extended, the variation of the principal components in blood was gotten and the change rule of the fluorescence spectral characteristics was obtained. The result indicates that: when excited by laser with the wavelength of 407nm, the whole blood solution, which was irradiated by continuous laser, can emit fluorescence and the location of the fluorescence peak is unchangeable, only the fluorescence intensity in 605nm decreased slowly. After irradiated by continuous laser for 14 hours, the fluorescence spectrum had a wave mutation, and there was a strong emission peak in 474nm eventually. By analysis one can conclude that the laser irradiating can put off the decay time of blood in vitro obviously, but continuously irradiated by laser for long time can led to the cells morphology changing and then accelerated the hemolytic process. As a result, there were a lot of fluorescent substances—reduction of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADP). The research can give a valuable reference for the research on blood decay and the functional structure of the blood.
