The Research on the Effective Detection Depth of Needle-like Optical Probe

The effective detection depth of needle-like optical probe has been studied. The light transport model is the diffusion equation and the boundary is Neuman. The sensitivity matrix is related to the position of light source and detector, which can be used to evaluate the effective detection depth. The sensitivity matrix is defined as the multiply of source and detector light distribution. Six different groups about six parameters was given as experiment models. The results of this paper can be used to study the spatial resolution and depth of multi-fiber.
