Analysis of Fluorescence Spectrum of Ether-Water Solution Based on the Method of Gaussian Decomposition

The fluorescence spectrum of ether-water mixture excited by ultraviolet light with the wavelength of 245 nm was obtained. Based on second derivative analysis, the fluorescence spectrum of ether solution is made Gaussian decomposition. The center wavelengths, peak intensities and half peak bandwidth of each Gaussian spectral line are measured and the multi-peak fitting are done by using Gaussian parameters. It is found that there are 7 types of luminescent association molecules, formed by ether and water molecules in different ways, exist in the solution. The location of each optimum absorption wavelength is different. The research can provide a useful technique means for the analysis of fluorescence spectra of ether-water solution.
