Research on Order Switch Cost for ETO Enterprise in MC
As orders of ETO enterprise in MC environment switch frequently and various orders are very different from each other, the cost caused by order-switch is enormous. Based on this situation, the characteristics of the ETO enterprise in MC environment are analyzed. The concept of order switch cost (OSC) is put forward and its characteristics are analyzed. The structure of the OSC model is built; and its contents are analyzed. Based on a matrix method, a procedure to acquire OSC is proposed. Finally the feasibility of this method was verified by a case.
