Application of project portfolio management in the real estate corporations

As is known to us all,after the occurrence of the global financial crisis,real estate corporations suffer more serious challenges. There will be more uncertainties and risks in the future. Traditional project management just focuses on doing the projects right,which is not enough. How to do the right projects becomes more important. In this paper,we simply review the concept and history of project portfolio management. After that we introduce some industries which apply project portfolio management. And then we argue some problems in the real estate corporations. At last we propose three primary phases to apply PPM in real estate corporations.
