Performance of zinc coating deposited on super high strength steel by cold spray technology
Pure zinc coating on super high strength steel substrate was prepared by cold spray technology,the performance of the coating was tested and compared with thermal spray zinc coating.Morphology and thickness of the coating was analyzed by SEM and the structure of the coating was analyzed by XRD. The adhesion of coating was studied by cross cut and thermal shock test. The corrosion performance was examined by salt fog test and the corrosion current was obtained by polarization curve.Results shows that,cold spray coating is com pact,it has excellent adhesion and corrosion performance,the corrosion current of cold spray coating is decreased remarkably,and anti corrosion performance of the coating is increased two times.
