Performance of non-asbestos gasket material by beater-addition process
At present it is the field of static sealing a research betspet of non-asbestos gasket materials.Foreign non-asbestos sealing ma terials research and development has made great strides into the practical phase.Domestic research and development of a more rapid pro cessing are rolling process and compressed process.In this paper,the assorted organic fiber,inorganic fiber and filler were chosen,and the NBR latex was regarded as bender.Using traditional beater-addition process (papermaking method) and improved papermaking facili ty,the non-asbestos gasket material with lower cost has been manufactured. The performances of non-asbestos gasket such as tensile strength,sealing performance,and oil and water resistance and were studied. The materials have high tensile strength,low oil and water absorption,and good compressibility and recovery. The non-asbestos gaskets could substitute the asbestos gaskets and performances simi lax to them.Compared with foreign similar products,the non-asbestos gaskets have lower cost.
