Structure,mechanical behavior and high strain rate superplasticity of the eca-pressed aluminium-lithium alloy
The structure of subjected to the equal-channel angular pressing rods of the Al-5.5% Mg-2.2% Li-0.12% Zr alloy has been studied. A microcrystalline structure has been shown to form during pressing. Two stages of superplastic deformation have been shown.Dependencies of true strain rate on temperature,true stress and true strain for the deformation during hardening stage and softening stage have been established. The data showing intra-grain sliding during hardening stage and dynamic recrystallization with participation of grain boundary sliding and migration during softening stage have been obtained.It has been shown the elongation up to~2000% corresponds to alloy,and n2≈and m≈0.45 for stages.
