A survey of research progress for effects of rare earth elements on foundry Al-Si-Mg alloy

摘要：

In recent years,research,development and applications of Al-Si-Mg foundry alloys increase very fast.RE.(such as La,Ce,Y,Eu) and mixture RE are very useful for refining,modifying,purifying,refinement Al-Si-Mg foundry alloys. Therefore they can improve complex mechanical properties,joining property,and anti-corrupt property. The author gives a survey of the above effects. The author also hopes that the foundation theory on Al-alloy research should be more strengthened.Moreover,more efforts should be put on research of ap plication of RE. On Al alloys in both micro and macro scales.New research results should be applied to production as soon as possible.
