Raman spectra of NaNO2 -KNO3 -NaNO3 ternary molten salts
The ionic structure of NaNO2-KNO3-NaNO3 ternary molten salts was studied by UV laser Raman spectra. The results show that anions NO3- and NO2- exist in the NaNO2-KNO3-NaNO3 ternary molten salts without complex anions. The strength of bond N-O is enhanced while adding NaN03 into KNO3-NaNO2 binary molten salts. And in the ternary molten salts the disordering level of the interior ions increase at a higher temperature and the strength of the bond N-O of the NO3- ion reduce. The distance between atom N and O is getting closer in the NO2- ion,while the bond angle of O-N-0 is becoming lager with increasing temperatures.
