Design,preparation and application of yttria coatings
Yttria coating can be used as the protecting coating of aluminum sections in plasma reaction chamber because of its excellent anti-plasma corrosion character. The alumina-yttria compound coating was prepared by air plasma spraying and micro-arc oxidation. The preparation technology was investigated. The microstructure was analyzed by sEM. The bond strength,porosity,rate of deposition and surface roughness were investigated.Comparing the properties of compound coating with yttria coating,it indicates that compound coating exhibits better microstructure and mechanical properties,and is easy to remove and re-prepare.
