New disinfectant and fiberous materials based on it

New effective nontoxic and cost saving disinfectant having germicidal,viricidal action and fungjcidal activity have been devel oped.It may be used for the current and preventive disinfection in treatment-and-prophylactic,preschool institutions,as well as in public utilities,public catering establishment and food trade. The disinfectant substance has been fixed on synthetic fibers of different types to synthesize germicidal fibers. The approach proposed may open the way to create operationally stable,water resistant germicidal fibers and films. The application of germicidal fibers and films might be the basis for the manufacture of biological treatment filters,antiseptic pack aging materials,antiseptic medical materials (bandages,sutures,cotton wool,tampons,special-purpose linen).
