On the initiative of Sibur Holding United Research and Development Centre,LLC (YRD Centre) has launched a unique for the Russian business and its scale work aimed at creation and starting production of nano composite coatings based on polyolefins. This is con nected with the interest,which has grown immensely over the recent years,for carbon nanotubes (CNT),carbon nanofibers (CNF) as nanofillers of polymer ma terials (polyethylene,polypropylene),as such compos ite materials possess a complex of properties considera bly exceeding those of the traditional micron fillers.
