Effect of nanostructural surface modification of tribological properties of metal-ceramic alloy
Results of the research of dependences of the depth of cutting by a diamond counterbody,of the area of cross-section of the cutting groove on the TiC-(Ni-Cr) metal-ceramic alloy,and of the coefficient of friction on the character of nanostructural modification of the alloy surface layer by the pulse electron-beam irradiation are presented.It is shown that nanostructural transformation of the metal binder in the surface layer of the alloy reduces coefficient of friction at sliding over its surface.
