Novel synthesis of SrBi4Ti4O15 nanopowers by n-amyl co-precipitation method and the dielectric properties of the ceramic

SrBi4Ti4015(SBrr) nanopowers were synthesized by n-amyl co-precipitation method.Well dispersed and agglomerate-free nanopowders were obtained by using n-amyl as dehydration solvent in an azeotropic distillation process. The crystalline SBIT nanoparticles with particle size between 70-100 nm were obtained at 850℃ ,which is 150℃ lower comparing with the traditional solid state reaction. The SBIT ceramics sintered at 1160℃ exhibited a relative density of 96% ,showing good sintering activity of the SBIT nanopowders.Both of the dielectric constant and loss drop drastically with increasing frequency below 100Hz and slight frequency dependence above 100 Hz is found,indicating stability in high frequency area.
