About the problem of recycling of zinc-containing metallurgical slimes
At the present time many developed countries meet the problem of the recycling of zinc-containing metallur gical slimes. This problem is also relevant to Russia. The zinc-containing metallurgical slimes in the sector of black iron industry evolve mainly as a result of steel making processing. This is connected mostly with the remelting of zinced scrap,cubature of which constantly enlarges in loadings. That leads to inevitable growth of the content of zinc in slimes,further difficulties and even inability of its utilization by usual way through blast-furnace smelting.
