Improvements on Grey Models for Non-equidistant Sequence

Being different from the typical direct modeling method and optimizing methods of background value, we use trapezoid formula and central difference quotient methods to whiten grey derivative and propose a grey modeling method for non-equidistant sequence based on the criteria of the minimum square error sum. The results show that the new model’s fitting precision and prediction precision is improved.
