Research on Algebraic Method of Arterial Coordination Control
Following the design principle of maximum green wave bandwidth and making use of the time-space diagram for arterial road coordination control, the traditional algebraic method is deeply analyzed combined with practical examples, and the deficiency of the traditional algebraic method is pointed out in this paper. On the basis of detailed analysis, the improved method of calculating the green wave bandwidth and the value of signal offsets and the best match method of intersections are proposed. The examples demonstrate effectively that the improved algebraic method can realize the optimal matching of each actual intersection and ideal intersection, the green wave bandwidth and signal offset obtained by the method are more practical and accurate.
