A Low-power 4K point FFT Processor for CMMB OFDM Receiver System

This paper presents a 4096-point FFT processor for CMMB receiver system,in which dual-path pipelined shared memory architecture is employed In this design,an elaborated memory configuration schemes make single port RAM available,with efficient memory access.Moreover,a data reordering for data storage in the radix-8 calculation is designed. This design with small area can perform 4K point FFT at lower power dissipation.In addition,the signal-to-Quantization Noise Ratio (SQNR) of a 4K-poin fixed-point FFT can achieve 48.7B with the wordlength of 12 bit.
