Influence of K,Na,F on Calcium Ferrite Generation During Solid Phase Reaction of Sintering Process
The effect of K, Na and F on calcium ferrite generation during the solid phase reaction of high basicity sintered ore sintering process was investigated using differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) techniques. It has been identified element F in Fe2O3-CaO-CaF2 system doesn’t have an imperfect influence on calcium ferrite generation during solid phase reaction of sintering process. SiO2 and CaF2 contend for CaO with Fe2O3 to generate cuspidine (3CaO·2SiO2·CaF2) and silicate(3CaO·2SiO2) when there exists SiO2, which is unfavorable for the formation of ferrite calcium. The silicates containing elements K and Na in the sintering raw material contend for CaO with Fe2O3 to generate CaO·SiO2 and 2CaO·SiO2, which has a bad influence up on the formation of ferrite calcium. The effect of F, K and Na on calcium ferrite generation during the solid phase reaction is revealed, and the results render a theoretical guideline for further treating the Baiyunebo ore with improved quality.
