Ezperimental Study on Pellet Production With Siderite
At present, the technology of producing blast furnace pellet with siderite ore is not so perfect in domestic iron and steel enterprises. Siderite pellet experiment was carried on with Daxigou siderite as the main raw material and not only compressive strength,falling strength of green ball, shock temperature but also green ball roasting and pelletizing compressing strength were studied. The result show that the pelletizing performance would be good with addition of other fine concentrates and the green ball shock temperature of the bentonite portion of 1.5% is higher than that of 1%. The compressive strength of Daxigou siderite iron ore is higher than that of other samples. When the roasting temperature was controlled at 1200 ℃, the compressive strength is higher. The experiment may provide basis for pelletizing process of Daxigou siderite.
