The Study of Low Concentration of SO2 From Sintering ProcessAdsorbed by Modified Solid Waste With Microwave
Following the upgrade of environmental requirements in our country, the actual discharging SO2 from sintering process flue gas will not be able to meet environmental specification in the future. So it is necessary to develop effective means of reducing low concentration of SO2. This paper presents a new method which solid waste was modified by microwave to adsorb low concentration of SO2. The experimental results showed that the adsorbents modified by microwave have higher de-SO2 ratio. Gas flow, microwave power, mixture ratio, particle diameter were studied as the factors that affect SO2removal efficiency. The experimental results showed that the effect of gas flow rate and microwave power was the most important key factors on de-SO2. The further analyses of SEM ensured the initial principles of microwave effect.
