The Research andAnalysis of Energy Saving Process in Sintering Production

The adding method of different fuels and its features during the sintering process by utilizing sintering theory was researched and a new method of optimizing the sintering heat gradient to overcome the disadvantage of un-uniform heat distribution up and down the sintering bed in the traditional process was proposed. This kind of method is adding all needed coke powder at one time before the last mixture of the fuels in the cylinder or on the disk, instead of originally adding all coke power in the ingredient room at one time, or separately adding coke power and fuel. Some industrial tests were made and significant effect on energy saving and consumption reducing was obtained. Finally the primary research and analysis on the corresponding changes induced by using the new adding fuel process was made.
