Research and Practice on Coal Utilization Under High PCI Rate in Shougang Qiangang BF
Facing low quality ore resource, coal utilization is studied deeply not only by rational ore blending and coal mixing and burden structure based on improving BF beneficiated burden material, 1260℃ blast temperature and 4% oxygen enrichment percentage and but also by microscopic analysis on unburnt coal sampled from tuyere and BF dust. PCI Rate at 2# BF on Qiangang reached 160-180kg/t for long term. And this is the first time for Shougang large BF to realize 180kg/t coal rate. Coal utilizations reached 98.99% while the coal rate continuously arrived at 180kg/t.
