Development and Application of BF Hearth Lining Protection by Wire Feeding

摘要：

A BF hearth lining protection technology was developed. Wire cored with high TiO2 material was fed into BF hearth by a wire feeder through the path of PCI lance to repair directionally the eroded lining. The technique has been applied in production BFs and the positive results have been attained significantly.
