Technology of High Blast Air Temperature for BF in Shougang Qian’an Iron and Steel Co Ltd

High blast air temperature is an effective way for higher pulverized coal injection, energy saving and lower cost of BF operations. For the BF in Shougang Qian’an Iron and Steel Co.Ltd, the hot blast air temperature is raised through optimization of hot blast stove structure, making use of simulation to ascertain optimal air-gas ratio and application of automatic control combustion of hot blast stove, etc. The hot blast air temperature was continuously increased. The hot blast air temperature was above 1260℃ in 2008, and the maximum temperature reached to 1280℃. By adjustment of the operating system, BF can assimilate high blast air temperature, the economical and technical indicators also climbed to a new level.
